About 230 miles today. Rainy weather to start the day but the sun burned off the clouds in a few hours. We passed cranberry bogs near Bandon and stopped in Brookings for coffee break and crossword puzzles. Temperature got into the 60s.

| Oregon Coast line views were wonderful. The road was scary at times, with sunken grades, sketchy paving jobs, lack of guard rails., landslides. |
