About 230 miles today. Rainy weather to start the day but the sun burned off the clouds in a few hours. We passed cranberry bogs near Bandon and stopped in Brookings for coffee break and crossword puzzles. Temperature got into the 60s.

Oregon Coast line views were wonderful. The road was scary at times, with sunken grades, sketchy paving jobs, lack of guard rails., landslides. |
