The week before departure

We're scrambling to get outdoor chores done when it isn't raining before heading South. We made 4 trips to Seattle, saw the Dentist and Doc, and cleaned the house.  I think we're ready!

The brush pile was so big that it burnred for 5 days.  This
was just the beginning.

Looks like we've butchered the little orchard.  The trees
look like sticks but hopefully will produce better fruit.

Next was the flowering cherry that was running wild.  It
was probably 40' high.  It won't bloom this year but should
be more manageable.
